Chrome

  1. Open a new tab and type “chrome://settings/content” in the address bar, followed by the Enter or Return key.
  2. Under the JavaScript section, select “Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)”.
  3. Select “Done” and close the Chrome Settings tab.
  4. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Firefox

Mac

  1. In the Firefox menu, select “Preferences…”, or use the shortcut keys “⌘,”.
  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. Check the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox, then select “OK” to close the Firefox Preferences panel.
  4. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Windows

  1. In the Tools menu, select “Options”.
  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. Check the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox, then select “OK” to close the Firefox Options panel.
  4. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Internet Explorer

  1. In the Tools menu, select “Internet Options”.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Under Security Level for this Zone, select “Custom Level…”.
  4. Scroll down to the Scripting section.
  5. Under Active Scripting select “Enable”.
  6. If a warning pop-up window appears asking “Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?”, select “Yes”.
  7. Select “OK” to exit Security Settings, then select “OK” again to exit Internet Options.
  8. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Safari

Mac

  1. In the Safari menu, select “Preferences…”, or use the shortcut keys “⌘,”.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Check the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox, then close the Preferences panel to save your settings.
  4. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Windows

  1. In the Edit menu, select “Preferences”.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Under the Web content section, Check the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox, then close the Preferences panel to save your settings.
  4. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Opera

Mac

  1. In the Opera menu, select “Quick Preferences”.
  2. Select “Enable JavaScript” if it isn’t checked.
  3. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.

Windows

  1. In the Tools menu, select “Quick Preferences”.
  2. Select “Enable JavaScript” if it isn’t checked.
  3. When you refresh your pages, Javascript will now be active.
